SpringML is seeking a Business Development Manager to join a dynamic and rapidly growing team of pre-sales professionals dedicated to building focused business growth through the Google Cloud partner channel. You will play a critical role in expanding SpringML’s market share in key sectors and verticals including Commercial, SLED, Federal Government and Healthcare & Life Sciences. The Business Development Manager will provide valuable market research, competitive analysis and domain knowledge that will help grow the business in alignment with the joint SpringML - Google Cloud strategic vision. The BD Manager will perform sales support, research and analysis activities and develop and refine business and account plans to drive business growth. 


  • Provide market insights on industry trends, competitive landscape information, and key domain information to internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify a strong funnel of growth potential by analyzing markets, building joint plans, identifying industry gaps, and researching potential new opportunities for expansion
  • Manage and maintain the pipeline of opportunities
  • Participate in channel and customer meetings to progress the funnel
  • Develop and leverage relationships to drive business growth
  • Maintain account funnel, forecast and domain performance metrics and dashboards
  • Develop joint business plans and assist in developing account plans for channel partners
  • Maintain appropriate Salesforce account, contact, and engagement records
  • Provide input to sales and marketing programs
  • Monitor the competitive environment and identify competitive opportunities



To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent preferred
  • Strong passion for sales and business development to help partner and close deals
  • Prior experience working in cloud (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud) is preferred
  • The ability to engage across functional teams in a matrixed environment
  • The ability to adapt to shifting priorities while meeting established individual and team goals and objectives
  • The inquisitive and self-driven candidate will also work collaboratively with teams and across departments in an agile environment
