SpringML is seeking a Business Development Manager to join a dynamic and rapidly growing team of pre-sales professionals dedicated to building focused business growth through the Google Cloud partner channel. You will play a critical role in expanding SpringML’s market share in key sectors and verticals including Commercial, SLED, Federal Government and Healthcare & Life Sciences. The Business Development Manager will provide valuable market research, competitive analysis and domain knowledge that will help grow the business in alignment with the joint SpringML - Google Cloud strategic vision. The BD Manager will perform sales support, research and analysis activities and develop and refine business and account plans to drive business growth.

RESPONSIBILITY:
Provide market insights on industry trends, competitive landscape information, and key domain information to internal and external stakeholders
Identify a strong funnel of growth potential by analyzing markets, building joint plans, identifying industry gaps, and researching potential new opportunities for expansion
Manage and maintain the pipeline of opportunities
Participate in channel and customer meetings to progress the funnel
Develop and leverage relationships to drive business growth
Maintain account funnel, forecast and domain performance metrics and dashboards
Develop joint business plans and assist in developing account plans for channel partners
Maintain appropriate Salesforce account, contact, and engagement records
Provide input to sales and marketing programs
Monitor the competitive environment and identify competitive opportunities

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
Four-year college degree or equivalent preferred
Strong passion for sales and business development to help partner and close deals
Prior experience working with Twilio and Google Cloud is preferred
An expert level proficiency with Salesforce is highly desirable
The ability to engage across functional teams in a matrixed environment
The ability to adapt to shifting priorities while meeting established individual and team goals and objectives
The inquisitive and self-driven candidate will also work collaboratively with teams and across departments in an agile environment
